Salum Kaporo joins MarketForce 360 as the Country Manager, Tanzania
Amid the difficulties of 2020, there were several bright spots for our company, ranging from significantly growing the team and setting up a new business line, to raising our first external round of capital, getting accepted into Y Combinator and of course surviving the pandemic. The team grew significantly and we improved our product feature set to meet our customers needs.
With that remark, we are happy to announce MarketForce 360 is now live in Tanzania; with the recent hiring of Salum Kaporo as the Country Manager effective January 2021. He shall be leading our enterprise business development efforts in Tanzania, while ensuring customer success for existing clients. Salum has 13 years of work experience as Senior Sales/ Commercial/ Customer Service professional. He has previously worked at AfriTrack, Vodacom, Liquid Telecom, and ZanTel in Tanzania.
Coming full circle
Salum is coming from the technology industry and has experience in developing and implementing innovative marketing and commercial strategies successfully. His skills and experience which include providing leadership to the sales channels, distribution structures and commercial function, development of new business offers to partners and dealers, project management and ownership of substantial budgets will be critical to the growth of MarketForce platform in Tanzania. He has a strong ability to work in a multinational environment and is fluent in both English and Swahili.
Additionally, Salum is a strong leader with an excellent reputation for building and retaining highly motivated and focused multicultural teams and we are delighted to have him on board.
