Meet Winnie Muriithi: Our Enthusiastic Head of Retail Sales
Winnie Muriithi joined MarketForce in April 2021 as a Sales and Marketing Manager. Later on in May 2021, she stepped into the role of Head of Retail Sales in charge of RejaReja MarketPlace and Digital Financial Services go-to-market. Her core job involves designing scalable go-to-market strategies for RejaReja marketplace and digital financial services business models and leveraging on data to forecast, measure, review and influence business performance and growth.
Winnie graduated from Kenyatta University with a Bachelor of Science. She also holds an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship with heavy background in developing and implementing commercial strategies within the FMCG space. Prior to joining MarketForce, Winnie worked in various capacities at EABL. She is a leader keen and passionate about building a highly inspirational people culture, centered on coaching, motivation & growth as a key driver to unlocking business growth. She thrives in finding solutions and opportunities to evolving challenges in retail distribution and leveraging on Technology innovation to drive value & influence communities in Africa which have been of value to MarketForce.
Winnie describes herself as an intentional human, who is deliberate to living life authentically centered in God. She loves her family and spends most of her time outside of work parenting her teens and farming coffee. During her free time, she looks to engaging in more activities that involve giving back to the community that is coaching the youth, capacity building for women in micro-businesses as well as extending support to rescue homes and centers.
