Meet Rose Waihunyu: Our Positive and Outgoing Sales Admin
Rose Waihunyu joined MarketForce in January 2021 as a Sales Admin under our retail business unit, Rejareja. Her duties include providing support for the troops on ground, monitoring stock levels as well as cash reconciliations on sales orders. With time her roles have changed and currently she is handling more responsibilities under operations. She works hand in hand with the Fulfillment Manager and through her dedication, love and hard work, she is growing and learning a lot everyday on fulfillment management.
Professionally
Rose is a fresh graduate of Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). She studied Business Management. Before MarketForce, Rose worked for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure as a Human Resource Manager where she learnt to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while organizing and updating company reports and staff records. She then worked as a Relationship Manager at AAR Insurance. Her roles were doing sales and retaining clients. She believes her knowledge and work background in management and sales has proven to be her strong foundation which have enabled her to be an asset to MarketForce.
Outside Work
Besides working for MarketForce, Rose is an entrepreneur and believes hard work is the secret to success. She takes inspiration from Margaret Thatcher who once said, “I do not know anyone who has got to the top without hard work. That is the recipe.”
She is also a farmer who is passionate about farming. She harvests traditional vegetables (famously known as mboga za kienyeji) and at the same time she owns a cow. She loves her family and they hold a very special place in her life. Outside business and family, you will catch Rose Netflix and chilling; and she loves watching comedies.
