MarketForce is pleased to welcome MarTech Enthusiast Eric Mworia as Head of Partnerships and Marketing
MarketForce, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Mworia as the Head of Partnerships and Marketing, effective January 2022.
Eric has over 12 years of experience in the Marketing and Technology industry or simply put “MarTech” as he likes to call it and his professional career has seen him work in the Automotive industry as well.
He has worked with companies such as Virtual City (a tech firm that develops and delivers mobile solutions across Agri and Supply value chain) where he was very instrumental in leading and implementing the commercialization strategy.
Most recently, Eric was involved at a senior level with Brainwave Communications (a local, solutions oriented communications agency) where he curated a solid Go-To-Market strategy by diversifying the agency’s business portfolio from FMCG to services. Some of the clients worth mentioning include Safaricom, Sidian Bank and Geminia Insurance.
We are delighted to have him join the MarketForce team as he aligns with our vision and goals of being the leading B2B Commerce and Fintech marketplace that empowers informal merchants across Africa. With him, he also brings significant expertise into this new, critical role and will mainly focus on getting the right partners who will enable us to scale our business both from a global and in-country scope, while ensuring we attain a strong brand equity in all our Marketing and Communication efforts.
When asked what makes him excited to join the MarketForce Team, this is what he had to say:
“The excitement with MarketForce is the vision we are actualizing around digitalization of informal trade. Since that is always the biggest component in African Trade, being part of a team that spearheads this is not only fulfilling but disruptive. Hence I’m delighted to be part of this great team that is making a difference in Africa”
