MarketForce Customer Service Month
At MarketForce, our most important focus is our merchants. While we train and remind staff throughout the year that exceptional customer service is the MarketForce way, we also took time to enjoy special activities devoted to it.
Customer Service Week is observed globally in October, and staff at MarketForce took this time to participate in activities that drive merchant engagement and promoted team awareness. One such activity was visiting local shops and learning about their needs. These visits strengthened our ties with our merchants and also reinforced just how important customer service is to us. Job shadowing of telesales and customer experience agents was another great opportunity for those who don’t interact with our merchants every day to get to interface with them. The activities indeed reinforced the importance of providing exceptional customer service to our merchants – as well as learning from each other.
This year, we observed Customer Service Week and extended it for the entire month of October. Stakeholders from different countries had insights about our merchants and our service to them. Philes Atandi, our Head of Customer Experience shared what it meant to always be at the forefront of serving our customers.
In our conversation with Dennis, the Country Director for Uganda, he mentioned that staying in contact with merchants is a key component of maintaining an excellent customer experience. He also noted that: “informing customers of any changes and providing exceptional customer service” is the best way to do so. We also spoke to Kenya-based Eric, who said: “to achieve the most excellent customer experience, it’s important to maintain our brand promise to our merchants” Tauseef from Tanzania noted that “marketing operations are important as it drives traffic and visibility”
At MarketForce, Customer Service is not a week or even a month. We take customer service seriously and are devoted to offering world-class service. One might even say that we are obsessed with our merchants.
