Meet Njeri Ndambia: Our Empathetic Head of HR and Admin
Njeri Ndambia joined MarketForce 360 in June 2020, as Head of HR, and later on, became Head of HR and Admin. She is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of all HR personnel administrative matters including but not limited to employment contracts, employee settlement documentation, and offers of employment guided by the implemented HR procedures and policies.
Njeri Ndambia graduated in 2017 from Makerere University Business School with a Bachelor of Human Resource Management. Before joining MarketForce 360, Njeri worked for a construction firm in Nairobi as the Head of HR. She got into the HR industry by coincidence and then studied for it. She says the more she practiced and gained knowledge, the more fascinated she became with the HR field and that gave her more reason to stick to it. By being the trust bridge between the staff and the management, Njeri’s HR style is governed by empathy and humanity.
In her own words: “I’d like to demystify the running unfortunate title that HR professionals have acquired over the years as being biased, unfair, and downright nasty.”
Njeri is a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a friend, which tells you she is deeply family-oriented. She is also a podcaster/ podcast lover. She is an adrenaline junkie who really enjoys the freedom and connection the outdoors offers.
During her free time, she also enjoys theater, stands up, and improv comedy events.
